Senior management team

John O'Hanlon

Founding Managing Director

 

John formed East West in 1988 and has been the driving force for the growth of the company since its early days as a specialist electrical sub-contractor.  John's early career was as a ships electrician and after leaving the Navy John moved to London to form the company.  John's reputation within the industry has grown and both his professional and personal contacts have come to admire and respect his flexible and caring approach to both clients and colleagues.

John Loughlin MSc MCIOB

Joint Managing Director

 

With over 35 years in the construction industry, John started his career working on major civil and infrastructure projects soon rising to the position of construction director for a national contractor. John’s background of managing complex large and medium size refurbishment and new build projects has brought the required level of management to increase the current complexity and project sizes.  He has introduced new processes and procedures to assist all aspects of the business to run more efficiently.

Kevin Tannian

Maintenance Director


Kevin started out his career in the Navy as an electrical artificer, maintaining all shipboard electrical equipment and power supplies, where he met John O’Hanlon. Kevin joined East West in 1988 and was made director in 2008 where is now responsible for all reactive and planned maintenance programmes undertaken by East West Connect.

 

Paul FitzGerald

M&E Director

 

Paul joined East West in 2000 as an electrical engineer and was appointed M&E director in 2006. Along with John O'Hanlon, Paul is now responsible for all activities relating to the specialist M&E services division. 

Charlie Quinn

Construction Director

 

Charlie joined East West in 2007 as construction director.  He has vast experience within the construction industry and has worked for both regional and national contractors on a variety of projects.  Along with John Loughlin Charlie will further grow this part of the business which includes new build capabilities.

Brian Connelly

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager

 

Like many good health and safety managers Brian started out his career as a project coordinator and soon worked his way up to site manager. In 2006 he moved into health and safety as a divisional manager for a national contractor.  Brian's range of skill sets ensures he carries out his duties with the upmost diligence.
